OBS March: Sale shifts to single-day format

The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has rescheduled its March selected sale of 2-year-olds in training to be held in its entirety on Tuesday, March 11, beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern. The sale was originally scheduled to be a two-day event, held on Monday and Tuesday.

OBS officials said in a release Friday that they moved the March sale to a single day in order to give horsemen two full days to examine prospective purchases. OBS moved back the first session of its two-day under-tack show, originally scheduled for Thursday, to Friday due to inclement weather in central Florida. The second OBS under-tack session was also moved back a day and will be held on Saturday, March 8, beginning at 8 a.m.

OBS has cataloged 411 juveniles for its March select sale, which will be streamed live at www.obssales.com and www.drf.com.
