OBS March sale gets 535 lots

The Ocala Breeders' Sales Company has cataloged 535 lots for its upcoming March selected juvenile sale. The two-day auction will run from March 21-22 at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla.

OBS will host its annual Day of Champions races on March 20 and that night will conduct the annual Adena Springs 2-year-old auction at Adena Springs South near Ocala.

Under-tack shows for the OBS March sale are slated for March 10-11 and March 17-18 at 9 a.m. The Adena Springs under-tack shows are set for March 3, March 9, and March 20 at 9 a.m. Catalogs for both the OBS and Adena Springs sales are available now through the OBS office at (352) 237-2154.

Last year's OBS March sale sold 323 juveniles for an average price of $81,731 and a median of $55,000. The sale-topper was a $900,000 Yes It's True colt out of Kit Kat Kitty. Sheikh Mohammed al-Maktoum's Darley organization bought the colt, now a winner named Testimony, from the Eisaman Equine agency.
