OBS fall mixed sale catalog available online

The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has cataloged 386 horses for its fall mixed sale, which will be held at the sales company’s complex in Ocala, Fla., on Oct. 15-16.

The first session on Oct. 15 is a consignor-preferred session, featuring 174 horses, which will start at 1 p.m. Eastern. The final session, an open session including 212 horses, commences at 10:30 a.m.

The sale features 160 weanlings by sires such as Colonel John, Kitten’s Joy, Leroidesanimaux, Old Fahshioned, and Wildcat Heir. Sires with their first crop of weanlings represented in the sale include Cape Blanco, First Dude, General Quarters, Gone Astray, and Paddy O’Prado.

The sale includes broodmares in foal to sires such as Bellamy Road, Big Drama, Broken Vow, Into Mischief, Majestic Warrior, Quality Road, Scat Daddy and Sky Mesa. First-crop stallions with in-foal mares cataloged include Astrology, Creative Cause, and Hansen.
