OBS fall mixed sale available online

The catalog for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. fall mixed sale is now available online at the OBS website. The two day-auction will contain a horses of racing age section for the first time.

A total of 468 horses are cataloged for the OBS fall mixed sale, with hip numbers 1-238 selling during the consignor preferred session on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Hip numbers 239-470 will be offered on Wednesday, Oct. 15, followed immediately by the horses of racing age section. Nominations for the horses of racing age section close on Monday, Sept. 22.

Both sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. An optional under-tack show is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 13, at 10:00 a.m. The sale will be streamed live at DRF Breeding.

The sale offers 210 weanlings from sires such as Curlin, Lookin At Lucky, Super Saver, Uncle Mo, Warrior’s Reward, Two Step Salsa, and Wildcat Heir. First-crop weanling sires represented in the sale include Astrology, Biondetti, Gemologist, Overdriven, and Stay Thirsty.
