Oaklawn: Street Strategy out with injury

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Street Strategy, who won the $100,000 Fifth Season during opening weekend at Oaklawn Park in his first start since the Breeders’ Cup, will miss the balance of the meet, according to trainer Randy Morse.
Street Strategy has a foot injury and likely will return to action later this year in Kentucky,” Morse said.
Street Strategy ran a bang-up race in the Fifth Season, rallying for a head win over Departing. Street Strategy was considered one of the top local prospects for the Grade 2, $750,000 Oaklawn Handicap. Randy Patterson owns the 5-year-old son of Street Sense.
◗ Gentlemen’s Bet, a multiple stakes-winning sprinter, is set to make his two-turn debut in the eighth race Thursday at Oaklawn. It’s a one-mile allowance and will end at the sixteenth pole.
