Oaklawn pick six finally hit

The pick six pot that built for 11 days at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Ark., was hit on Friday, with 170 winning tickets returning $2,349 each.

The carryover was $203,977 heading into the program, with another $329,545 bet into the wager on Friday.

It was the largest carryover at Oaklawn since Feb. 6, 2006.

The pick six ran through races 3 through 8, and the winners were formful. Sleek Ridge won the third and paid $4.60. Ice Bird ($5.20) took the fourth, Wild Oration ($7.40) the fifth, My Mandy Girl ($10.80) the sixth, Mysterious Chimes ($4.20) the seventh, and Sir Mott ($6.40) the eighth. The winning numbers were 4-6-7-10-4-8.

There were also 2,443 consolation tickets, with five of six winners returning $26.60.
