Oak Grove: Live racing canceled for Monday, Tuesday; earlier post for future dates

Due to overwhelming heat with indexes over 100 degrees in Kentucky, Oak Grove has canceled racing scheduled for Monday (June 29) and Tuesday (June 30) out of caution for all horses and drivers slated to compete.  

With the loss of racing this week, Oak Grove has added an extra race day to the tail of the 2026 season on Wednesday, July 15, which will now serve as closing day for the live racing season. In accordance with the expected summer heat and to accommodate the many divisions of Kentucky Sire Stakes races anticipated, Oak Grove has also moved post time forward for the remainder of the meet to 10:55 a.m. (CDT).  

Live racing at Oak Grove resumes next week on a Monday (July 6) through Wednesday (July 8) rotation. The second round of Kentucky Sire Stakes events highlights the penultimate week of the 2026 meet. For more information, visit oakgrovegaming.com.
