Tony Alagna scored a double with Boudoir Hanover and I Did It Myway. Racing in the final for pacing mares, Boudoir Hanover (Todd McCarthy) took charge past the 26 2/5 opening quarter and went on to a 1:50 2/5 victory over stablemate Queen Of Success (Andy McCarthy). Idealinfun (Yannick Gingras) got up to finish in the third spot. The 1-5 favorite, Boudoir Hanover returned $2.54 to win. In the championship for pacing horses and geldings, I Did It Myway (A. McCarthy) put up fractions of 26 2/5, 54 2/5, and 1:22 and got to the wire a quarter of a length ahead of fellow Alagna trainee Taurasi (T. McCarthy), who rallied out of third in the stretch. All Or Nothing (Dave Palone) was third from the pocket. She would be overtaken beyond three-quarters by Eternal Lee (A. McCarthy), leaving Pioneer As (Tony Hall), who had been second-over, uncovered and in the first-up slot. Despite losing her cover, Pioneer As rallied through the stretch drive, went around Eternal Lee, and held off a surge by Adore Me (Andy Miller) score by a head in 1:52 3/5.
