SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association will be offering many multiple-day wagers during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. Beginning Thursday, there was a two-day pick four using races 9 (Grade 3 Poker) and 10 on Thursday with races 1 and 2 on Friday. There is a two-day pick four using Friday’s 13th (Grade 1 Just a Game) and 14th with races 1 and 2 Saturday. There is a two-day, all-turf stakes pick five using Friday’s 12th and 13th with Saturday’s 9, 10th and 12th. That wager has a 50-cent base with a 15 percent takeout. There is a two-day, all-stakes pick six using Friday’s 6th and 9th with Saturday’s 7th, 8th, 11th, and 13th. That wager has a 20-cent base with a 15 percent takeout. There are four daily doubles that utilize the Belmont Stakes as the second leg. The first leg of those doubles are the Acorn, New York, Woody Stephens, and Met Mile. Those wagers carry a $5 base and an 18.5 percent takeout. Lastly, there is a $2 double linking Saturday’s Epsom Derby to the Belmont.
