All-sources handle at New York Racing Association tracks – Aqueduct and Saratoga – in 2025 was $2,070,660,489, down 0.9 percent compared to the $2,088,905,480 in 2024.  There were 196 racing days in 2025 compared to 190 in 2024. Average daily handle in 2025 was $10,564,594, down 3.9 percent from the average of $10,994,239 in 2024.  There were 1,832 races conducted in 2025 compared to 1,783 run in 2024. There were 484 turf races run in 2025, up 7.8 percent from the 449 run in 2024. A total of 85 scheduled turf races were transferred to the main track in 2025, compared to 79 off-the-turf races in 2024.  Average field size in 2025 was 7.31 horses per race in 2025, down from 7.55 from 2024.  Handle on Belmont Stakes Day was basically the difference in raw figures year over year. All-sources handle on Belmont Stakes Day was $101.86 million, down from $125.75 million handled in 2024.
