NYRA CFO has resigned
OZONE PARK, N.Y. – Susanne Stover has resigned from her position as chief financial officer for the New York Racing Association. Her last day was Jan. 15.
Two sources said Stover was taking a similar position with Johnny Rockets, the restaurant chain headquartered in Southern California. Before coming to NYRA, Stover worked for two restaurant chains, including California Pizza Kitchen.
Stover was hired by NYRA in February 2012 and replaced Ellen McClain, who had been elevated from CFO to chief executive of NYRA.
Jelena Alonso, NYRA’s controller, will serve as NYRA’s interim CFO.
“Susanne was an incredibly valued member of NYRA, and we wish her all the best in the future,” NYRA spokesman John Durso said.
