N.Y. breeders name new director

The New York Thoroughbred Breeders Inc. has named Jeffrey Cannizzo as its executive director, working out of the organization's headquarters in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Cannizzo, whose family has long been involved in the New York racing and breeding businesses, has worked in development and consulting capacities with the technology company Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, and, most recently, Daily Racing Form.
