Not This Time, family, well-represented for September sale

Not This Time is one of the most exciting young sires in the country, and he, half-brother Liam’s Map, and the family behind him will be well represented at the Keeneland September yearling sale.
Not This Time, who stands at Taylor Made Farm in Nicholasville, Ky., is the sire of dual classic-placed Epicenter, who seized control of the 3-year-old division with a dominant victory in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes in his most recent start. Epicenter leads five graded stakes winners this season for Not This Time, who sits third on the general sire list by North American earnings behind Into Mischief and Curlin.
Not This Time is also the sire of Grade 1 winner Just One Time and graded stakes winners Arzak, Midnight Stroll, and Simplification.
The Travers victory was celebrated by Taylor Made, which not only stands Grade 3 winner Not This Time, but boards his dam, Grade 3 winner Miss Macy Sue, and several other members of the family for the Albaugh Family Stables.
Miss Macy Sue, a 19-year-old daughter of Trippi, is the dam of four winners from five starters, all stakes performers – Grade 1 winner Liam’s Map, Not This Time, and stakes winners Matera and Taylor S. Liam’s Map, who scored his biggest win in the 2015 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile, stands at Lane’s End Farm, and is this year represented by Colonel Liam, who scored a repeat win in the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup Turf; and by stakes winner Crazy Beautiful, who attained millionaire status as she continues to knock heads with the best of her division.
Liam’s Map is represented by 65 yearlings over the 12-session run of the Keeneland September yearling sale. Not This Time has 50 entered in the catalog. Their female family could be even more significant. Their half-sister Taylor S, who also resides at Taylor Made, is represented by her American Pharoah filly selected to Book 1. She will be consigned by Taylor Made Sales, as agent for the Albaughs.
“Taylor S really has a special place in our heart – I just love that family,” Frank Taylor said. “We raised Liam’s Map and Not This Time and Taylor S herself. She’s by American Pharoah, who we had here as a yearling, so we’ve got the family top and bottom. It’s just an awesome family. This filly’s really got a great walk and a lot of class about her.”
Taylor S, by Medaglia d’Oro, won the Any Limit Stakes at Gulfstream Park, and her multiple stakes placings included a third in the Grade 2 Forward Gal at that track. The young mare’s first starter is the winning Honor Code filly Four Grands.
