Race 1
(1) PERFECT TRIP just needs a smooth trip from a provisional pilot for a big piece. (5) TIMELESS UTAH four-year-old gelding has now made a break in two of the last three. If he stays trotting he's the horse to beat. (9) DUETS TOO was much improved last out at this level just missing.
Race 2
(7) I AM TRUTH paced a personal best over the track last start and finds a really soft field. (8) KINGOFTHEREIGNS could hit the ticket at a price with a decent setup. (6) SKYLA BLU two-year-old filly is bred to be a champion on the trot but will try the pace instead against older.
Race 3
(3) FRIDAYSCOMIN takes a significant drop in class against weaker. (4) ALADY FOR SURE has yet to win on the year but has threatened at this level in the past. (9) VACATION DAY showed a good burst of speed last week; threat.
Race 4
(4) JD'S MILITARY STAR deserves one more shot after just missing at a price last week. (1) BRANDED GUN is going to offer low value and has only one win on the year; use caution. (9) REPEAT PERFORMANCE might find this group softer than the last few weeks.
Race 5
(9) MAKIN GREEN LAVEC looks to offer the best price of the contenders. The trotting mare has been competitive against better on the year. (4) ROSE RUN OSCAR will beat this bunch with his best effort. The 7-year-old hasn't been right since the breaks a few starts back. (6) GREEN PEACE is more than capable of beating this bunch with a smooth trip.
Race 6
(4) SASSY OSBORNE will look to drop and pop against weaker. (1) CRAIG MICHAEL should be in line for a great trip up close. (6) BUBBA DELIGHT put in sharp effort last week showing a nice late burst.
Race 7
(6) JAYPORT ALL MUSCLE raced well last week parked out most of the mile. (9) WITHOUT ME AS has been very competitive at this level on the year. (1) DARK ROAST has stayed flat in two straight efforts. The trotting mare gets the best post and can hit the ticket if she minds her manners.
Race 8
(1) JUST CROWNED was an easy winner when last seen at this level; fires early. (9) LUCKY REI should offer good value underneath and might be able to follow the top choice out of the gate. (7) SPILL THE BEANS gets sent out for a capable barn off an excellent effort.
Race 9
(6) MAINSTREET PARTY should be much closer turning for home against weaker. (1) SAND ROYAL BLU is fast enough to win at this level with a good effort. (5) NEELY'S MESSENGER has yet to win on the year but is one of the best horses in the race.
Race 10
(1) DEFTONES is capable of getting on a roll even bumping up in class. (2) SOUTHWIND JOKER just missed at this level last week. (9) A BETTOR WORLD owns only one win on the year but does get sent out for capable connections.
Race 11
(3) MCLEGEND has been much improved for new connections. The 3-year-old gets a big post edge on his main rival. (4) VICIOUS ALOICIOUS finally got a win last week at this level; command a price. (8) VELOCITY LAYLA probably has the most upside in the field but gets a tough starting post.
Race 12
(1) MUSTODIAN is very inconsistent from week to week but a good effort puts him in the mix. (6) NORTHERN SPARK dropped and popped last week against softer; fires early. (5) MARGARITA MAN can hit the ticket at a price with a good setup.
Race 13
(2) PICKWICK has been racing gamely and looks to be in line for a much easier trip this week. (1) GOOD WIN EARL was an easy winner down in class last week. The 8-year-old will need a similar effort to make it two straight. (4) BETTOR'S CHOICE will offer much better value this week against similar.
Race 14
In a wide open and evenly matched race, (5) THISONEANDONEMORE owns multiple wins against better on the year. The pacer needs a fast pace to close into for his best chance. (3) BETTOR AND BOLD has just been racing evenly but was the driver's choice. (1) ONEMORELASTCHANCE has question marks coming off the scratch. The 11-year-old gets the best post against a really suspect bunch.
Race 15
(2) BAD BUG gets sent out for a top barn down in class. (1) LETS BE TRUTHFUL hit the board at this level last time out against a similar bunch. (6) WINTER CRUISE burned cash as the favorite at this level last week; threat.
Race 16
(9) SNEEKY FEET owns only one win on the year but is facing significantly weaker. (1) MAC'S DEVIL gets sent out for a low percentage pilot but does get the best post. The 8-year-old has room to improve third start back. (3) ROYAL ASSASSIN hit the board at this level two back.
