Jeremey’s $1 Pick Four Play:
3,4,6 with 5,6 with 1,4 with 3,6,7 =$36
Race 1
(9) TIMELESS UTAH has really improved in his last few races. The 4-year-old gelding should be much closer turning for home this week. (3) MONARCH BAUR is a threat with a smooth trip and decent setup. (2) NANTUCKET was bet down favorite in this class last week only to perform poorly; command a price.
Race 2
(9) FINAL CHAMPION three-year-old filly was a dominant winner at this level last start drawing off. (7) ONE HOT MESS might be one of few threats to the top choice but has just been racing evenly. (2) ELECTRIC PONDER has room to improve third start back off the long layoff.
Race 3
(6) BEAUTY CHIP picks up a big driver change in against a suspect bunch. (2) EDIT well bred 9-year-old has yet to hit the board in four starts on the year, however the gelding takes a big drop in competition. (9) SONG OF THE VALLEY trotting mare comes off a solid qualifier. The 5-year-old has breaking problems but could be improving for a new barn.
Race 4
In a wide open and tough race to gauge, (9) MECHANICAL ART was a game winner when last seen at this level. (4) BJ'S BEQUIA ten-year-old stallion is just now back in racing shape and drops down to the bottom level. (1) ABERARDER MAX has a chance to hit the ticket starting from the rail.
Race 5
(7) PERFECT TRIP lightly raced 6-year-old gets sent out for a provisional pilot but trotted a big first half mile last week before fading late. (4) DYNAMITE STICK filly has faced much tougher in her first two starts back off the short layoff. (9) AMERICANLEAGUE freshman colt faces older but has lots of room to improve in his third career start.
Race 6
(3) CHARLIE BADLANDS gets sent out for a really low percentage pilot, however the 5-year-old was sneaky good last start facing a tougher bunch. (2) KINGOFTHEREIGNS has been competitive at this level but has lacked late stamina. (7) THREE SECRETS three-year-old filly owns a decent burst of speed.
Race 7
(5) CARBON FOOTPRINT will be looking to drop and pop down in class. (9) MUSCLE ON BROADWAY is the second dropper in the race but has a low win percentage. (2) ITS NOT OVER put in a really big effort on the fair circuit last out.
Race 8
(6) GUISEPPE MOLLUSCA looks to offer a big price and has been very competitive at this level; fires late. (3) PICK SIX finally gets a good starting post facing an inconsistent field. (4) AMERICHI is probably the horse to beat but the pacer has been off for a month; use caution.
Race 9
(6) BALANCED GAME has closed gamely in two straight and should be closer turning for home. (5) CRAZY EYES is one of few in the race that shows competitive lines at this level. (3) ROSE RUN PRINCESS is capable with a good setup.
Race 10
(4) ROLL'EM UP has been pacing some fast miles against better. (1) TRUE BLUE HALL picks back up the top driver with the best starting post. (2) CHEYENNE LOUIE looks in line for a nice ground saving trip up close.
Race 11
(3) SBD INDIE ROCK drew off last week against similar. (6) J-S FOR JUSTICE is a huge threat if the trotter can get an early lead. (7) SIMONA DREAM filly might be the fastest trotter in the race but needs to mind her manners.
Race 12
(1) DEFTONES picks up a big driver change with the best post. (2) SEA DEUCE might get a crack at the top choice late. (4) RUSTY'S NO FOOL has very little to show for some solid efforts on the year. That could change this week with a good setup.
Race 13
(9) PINE ROCK raced well last week needing the start. (4) VICIOUS ALOICIOUS owns only one win in his career and burned lots of cash at this level last week with no excuse; use caution. (6) MCLEGEND probably has the most upside in the race but has some question marks coming off a scratch.
Race 14
(6) T RED owns all the back class getting sent out against a suspect bunch. (1) HERE COMES HUDD looks to be in line for a really nice trip on the lead or in the pocket. (2) MORELAND FLASH has been unable to score a victory at this level but can hit the ticket underneath.
Race 15
(5) ROYAL ASSASSIN raced poorly last week against better. The 6-year-old shows an easy win at this level a few months back. (3) CHROME SEELSTER paced a decent mile from a tough starting post last week. (4) TWO BEAT has just been racing evenly; command a price.
Race 16
(1) MODEL NINETY FOUR has a good history at this track. The pacer has yet to win on the year but is at the bottom level against a weak field. (7) IMA NUISANCE would be the horse to beat with a better pilot aboard. (9) HICKORY TERRIFIC picks up a top driver; threat.
