Race 1
(1) PERFECT TRIP flashed some ability in the qualifier a few weeks ago. The 7-year-old gets a huge post advantage on the main players in the race. (7) L A LADY freshman filly has lots of room to improve in her second career start. (8) SHAKE N BAKE two-year-old colt needs to find a way into the race but has upside.
Race 2
(1) SEMI BEGONIA needed the start last out and draws the best post. (5) ONEMOREBRO shows a win at this level two back. (3) IRON LEGACY gelding is capable of beating this bunch at a price with his best effort.
Race 3
(6) RUNHAPPY TEN gets sent out for a capable barn in a field full of question marks. (5) CDAWG CRUISER morning line favorite has flashed a good burst of speed and just needs to mind his manners. (8) OHIO VINTAGE needs to find a way into the race but looks to have ability.
Race 4
In a really weak field, (6) DACOR PRINCESS has been knocking on the door at this level. (3) DELIGHTFUL NIGHT has hit the board at this class in three of four. (4) WOOD HUNTER has just been racing evenly; command a price.
Race 5
(9) EMERALD CHIP five-year-old trotter has been competitive against better on the year. (2) MOONTAN couldn't seal the deal against weaker two back but is a threat with a good effort. (3) CERVEZA DINERO takes a significant drop in class and picks up the top driver.
Race 6
(7) HOT SHOT HILL has some question marks coming off the scratch but gets sent out for capable connections against a weak and inconsistent field. (2) COACH KEN has just been racing evenly but does own a decent burst when timed right. (4) NO FOREIGN EXCHANGE shows a win at this level on paper but will offer low value and has been dull in recent; use caution.
Race 7
(7) LEARNING LINDY had some sneaky late trot last week from a very tough spot. The 4-year-old mare adds second-time Lasix and picks up a huge driver change. (1) MEL ROSE DUNN just missed at this level three back and gets the best starting post. (4) ROMEO has been close against similar in two of three.
Race 8
(6) OGRADYS FIRST MAN will look to drop and pop down in class. (3) REBEL ROCK RUSTY is probably the main danger to the top choice with an easy early lead. (1) RUSTY'S NO FOOL could pick up the pieces in the right scenario but is probably best used underneath.
Race 9
(2) WHAT DA MATTER U faces weaker and owns wins against similar on the year. (5) MIKEY HANOVER should be ready for an improved effort third start back off the long layoff. (1) I'VE GOT SPIRIT has just been racing evenly but should be in line for a ground saving trip up close.
Race 10
(4) CARIBBEAN BEACH picks up a huge driver change and will be tough to catch with an early lead. (3) POW CHICKA POW POW will offer a big price in an inconsistent field. (8) WARP FACTOR THREE might have been the horse to beat with an inside post; threat.
Race 11
(8) JETZILLA has been really good in four straight starts. The 8-year-old will need to find a way into the race but might have more to offer. (2) NINETIETH MINUTE was a game winner at this level two back. (4) NOTMEITSYOU picks up the top driver but is 0 for the year and will offer a very short price.
Race 12
(3) AMPED UP HANOVER was solid in the qualifier and looks to offer value in a field with few contenders. (2) ASTA LA PASTA shows some back class on paper but might need a start after breaking in two straight before the qualifier. (1) BUCKEYE PATTY mare owns gate speed starting from the rail.
Race 13
(1) HOUSATONIC drops down in for a tag starting from the best post. The 5-year-old could get a nice pocket trip. (2) SAMMY SAID needed the start last week and will probably be sharper; short price. (3) MCCOVEY was an impressive wire to wire winner last week against slightly softer.
Race 14
(4) QUEEN'S RIPSNORT looks freshened up for a better effort. The 4-year-old owns wins against much tougher on the year. (3) SKYWAY JAGUAR should be closer turning for home this week. (1) JOEVIDAL well bred gelding has room to improve in his second start back off a long layoff.
Race 15
(9) IMA IRONMAN will look to make it three straight at this level. (8) FEELIN AMERICAN might be one of few threats in the race but needs an ideal setup. (2) OUTWIT has just been racing evenly; command a price.
Race 16
(6) CUTMEACHECK flashed some ability two back; threat. (9) JOHNNY HORSE RACE has been knocking on the door against this same bunch. (3) DEO'S PERFECTSOUND well bred filly has hit the board at this level in three straight.
