Race 1

(5) DIVA DEJARMBRO is a nice looking 3-year-old that has lots of upside coming off an impressive win. (7) DEW IN THE DESERT might have too much work to do from the far outside but is one of few threats in the race. (1) DEWEYBELIEVENHOWE was no match for the top choice last week; use underneath.

Race 2

In a really weak field, (7) GORGEOUS RANGER has been racing evenly against tougher at Hoosier, but the 3-year-old filly can probably out-close these with a decent setup. (4) POKER NURSE was much improved for a new trainer last week; threat. (2) THE THIRD LADY is a lightly raced filly that is one of few in the race with a win on the year.

Race 3

(7) SPIDER THE BITER will offer a big price in a field full of question marks. (2) MONARCH BAUR keeps taking heavy tote action only to disappoint; use caution. (1) STARSTRUCK LOLA has yet to hit the board in seven starts on the year but does get the best post against a very soft group.

Race 4

(1) PLAYERS CROQUETTE gets the best post in a weak and inconsistent field. Lightly raced 3-year-old (2) JACKPOT GENIE has room to improve in her second career start. (8) FINAL AND FOREVER will look to make it two straight at a very short price. The 3-year-old gets a very tough starting post and doesn’t show a ton of gate speed.

Race 5

(4) J-S FOR JUSTICE has been solid in two straight to kick off the year. (1) ELI ELI O is an 8-year-old trotter that will look to make it three wins in three career starts. (3) ANASATIA GUNNER might have just needed some time to develop. The 4-year-old flashed some ability last year before having some breaking issues.

Race 6

(9) I AM TRUTH looks terrible on paper but is facing a really weak bunch. (5) JOHN’S A LUCKY MAN is a 3-year-old gelding that broke his maiden last start using a really nice back half of the mile; short price. (2) KINGOFTHEREIGNS keeps one of the best drivers.

Race 7

(3) FULL TROT finally scored a win last out. The filly should have more to offer this week. (9) SIMONA DREAM will either win or break. I find it hard to take a short price with the horse starting in the second tier. (6) CHARMING CADET was a solid second at this level last week.

Race 8

(3) DEFTONES owns a win against better on the year and picks back up a top driver. (5) BESTINTHEBUSINESS couldn’t seal the deal at a short price last week; use caution. (1) PICK SIX raced big last out from a tough spot.

Race 9

(2) FASHION CHOCOLATE has consistently burned cash on the year, however the well-bred trotter just needs to mind his manners for a win. (1) AMERICANGENERATION could be the sleeper in the race should the top choice falter. (3) SAY IT BEST scored a big upset down in class last week. The trotter shows some decent efforts against similar.

Race 10

(9) TWIN B HOLLISTER takes a significant drop in class against weaker. (6) POWER ROCK needs a fast pace to close into for his best chance. (2) CACTUS BILLY hasn’t raced in almost two months and could need a start.

Race 11

(3) ROSE RUN PRINCESS was a game winner when last seen at this level. (6) RETURN TO PARIS will offer a monster price and is capable with a good setup. (7) SONG IN MY HEART should have had much more last week; use underneath.

Race 12

(3) ROLL BACK gets a big post edge on the main dangers in the race. (5) MAJOR DREAMBOAT almost popped at a price last start against similar. (8) BEVNLINDAS SUNNAP will offer low value and has lacked late stamina in two straight.

Race 13

(6) DJ LANCE needed the start last week coming off a long layoff. (4) AT DAYBREAK might be ready for a better effort first start in a new barn. (8) HE’S GOT IT would have been the horse to beat with a better post; threat.

Race 14

(8) SIMMY is up against it from the far outside but the trotter is taking a significant drop in class. (1) SWAN YANKEE shows some breaks but will be tough to beat if she minds her manners. (6) CROWNED WITH GLORY is fast enough to beat this bunch and picks up a huge driver change.

Race 15

(7) HICKORY LITTLE RED will look to drop and pop at the bottom level. (5) ABERARDER MAX picks up the top driver in a weak field. (1) GLASS PACK is a veteran pacer that gets the best post and will be tough to keep off the ticket.

Race 16

(2) FLYING METRO picks up a big driver change with a good post. (3) BOB’S IDEAL has just been racing evenly, but is a threat with a good setup. (1) MAYNARD paced a decent qualifier off a long layoff.
