Best Bet: LUCKY’S ROSE (7th)
Spot Play: CLOUD BURST (8th)
Race 8 - $10,000 Guaranteed Pick-4 Pool
Jeremey’s $1 Pick Four Play:
1,3,4 / 9 / 2,5,9 / 3,4,9 = $27
Race 1
(6) MEADOWBROOK GLIDER broke before the start out week but was really good the week prior. (4) MOARCH BAUR three-year-old has room to improve in his second lifetime start. (8) HANNAH’S CHARM well bred filly comes off a really nice winning debut, however she has never made a start on a half mile track; use caution.
Race 2
In a really weak and inconsistent field, (3) WILD NORDIC will offer a nice price and gets a much better starting post. (2) MEADOWVIEW CLIFFY might be able to get a piece with an easy early lead. (4) FLYING MUSCLES needed the start last week.
Race 3
(2) SOUTHWIND ROYCE hasn’t looked the greatest in the qualifiers but has a really nice pedigree. The 3-year-old should offer a big price in a field full of question marks. (3) EZY OVER picks up a huge driver change but needs to stay trotting. (4) DEXTER NEELY stayed trotting in the qualifier which is a big improvement.
Race 4
(5) DALLAS SEELSTER will look to drop and pop against much weaker. (9) ROYAL KEE WEE N is another dropper in the race. The pacer just needs a trouble free trip for a chance at a piece late. (6) UNADORNED HANOVER is very inconsistent from week to week; but might be able to hit the board underneath.
Race 5
(4) SUMMER INDIAN eight-year-old gelding has tons of back class. The gelding is closing in on half a million and should find this bunch much easier. (5) WITHOUT ME AS has had no luck whatsoever at the track but that could change down in class. (3) SING OUT picks up the top driver; fires early.
Race 6
(3) LITTLEMISSBUCKEYE showed a good burst of speed off the gate last week before tiring late. If the filly gets a covered up trip she can win. (5) YOU TALKING TO ME will offer a big price but will need to bounce back with a poor effort over the off track. (6) TOMORROWS KINGDOM three-year-old gelding makes his career debut against a soft bunch.
Race 7
(5) LUCKY’S ROSE raced decent first start back off the long layoff. The sophomore filly should have more to offer second start back against weaker. (4) ROSE RUN RAE hit the board at this level last week from a tough post. (1) MOCKING JAY just needs to stay trotting for a chance at a piece.
Race 8
(3) CLOUD BURST doesn’t win often but could be in line for a nice trip up close at a price. (1) HONEEMOON SUITE has been knocking on the door against much tougher. (4) UPFRONTOUTTHEDOOR takes a significant drop in class but has just been racing evenly; use caution.
Race 9
(9) ANNIE’S ROCKETMAN dominated similar last start; short price. (7) SUPER LILY four-year-old trotting mare won 12 of 20 last year and was sharp in the qualifier. (6) BUCKEYE PATTY has shown good closing ability in her last few efforts.
Race 10
(9) GIANT SCULPTURE picks up a top driver down in class. (5) MAYFIELD HANOVER might be the horse to beat with a good setup. (2) STARTHIMUP was competitive at this level a few starts back.
Race 11
(4) SONG IN MY HEART was racing in the open a few months back. The trotter picks up a big driver change. (3) CERVEZA DINERO has burned cash in two straight; command a price. (9) MAXIMUM CREDIT is probably the fastest trotter in the race but gets sent out for a low percentage pilot.
Race 12
In a very tough race to gauge, (7) JUMPIN JACK J has yet to win on the year but can pick up the pieces in the right scenario. (5) LIMA THUNDER should be closer turning for home this week. (3) LIMA RITCH picks up a big driver change.
Race 13
(4) BELLE’SVICTORYRING will look to make it five for five this year. (2) MYSTICAL POWER was an easy winner last start down in class. (9) IVA SECRET mare has blossomed into a nice trotter but is best used underneath.
Race 14
(9) HEAVENS DANCER impeccably bred pacer should have more to offer in her second lifetime start. (6) PLAYERS CROQUETTE faces slightly weaker and will offer a monster price. (3) POKER NURSE keeps the top driver but has just been racing evenly.
Race 15
(2) ELOCUTIONIST drops down to the bottom level and will be used aggressively. (9) CULLENS BLUE JEAN owns a win at this level on the year. (3) JUXASPORT has yet to hit the board in thirteen starts on the year; command a price.
Race 16
(2) JET’S DREAM looks to offer value and is getting sent out for a hot barn. (3) LOOK KIMBO four-year-old has room to improve off a winning first start back. (7) MCMOOSE owns a good burst of speed when timed right; threat.
