Race 1
(5) AMERICAN LEAGUE had some sneaky late trot in his debut for a new barn last week. (2) BAT CHIP CRAZY has just been racing evenly and looks to be a low price; use caution. (3) STRIKING TURBO probably needs a start over the track but fits in with this group on paper.
Race 2
(8) HELENHOTTWHEELZ made a miscue last start but has flashed a decent burst of speed in two straight. (2) DESIRABLE LOU picks up a huge driver change while facing slightly weaker; short price. (4) UFEDLIKESTRUMP finds a really weak field full of question marks. The 3-year-old has been competitive at this level.
Race 3
(8) MM’S CREDIT LINE is an 8-year-old mare making her career debut off a very optimistic qualifier. (9) KANDY’S GIRL, the heavy morning line favorite, picks up a top driver off a nice victory. (5) SUICIDE BLONDE stayed flat in her recent qualifier and will offer a big price.
Race 4
(6) TRICKY TRENDY will offer the best price of the contenders and just needs a trouble-free trip for a shot at hitting the ticket. (2) BLUE AINT MY COLOR has lacked stamina late but might be good enough with the early gate speed. (1) BATTLE OF ANNAE has hit the board at this level in three of four.
Race 5
(3) LUCKY OVER ANDOVER is a well-bred colt that has upside making his 3-year-old debut off a nice qualifier. (4) ANASTASIA ROCKY showed some improvement at this level last time. (5) MARVELOUS MAN gets sent out for capable connections but has just been racing evenly.
Race 6
(1) GRAPES CHERRY didn’t fire as the favorite last week after showing a nice burst in the start prior. The 3-year-old can redeem himself with a good effort. (4) DING DONG DINGER raced well at this level last out. (9) BIG TIME COWBOY probably needs a start coming off the long layoff; use underneath.
Race 7
(3) BETTOR’S PICK has been competitive against much tougher on the year. (9) HES WELL CONNECTED is inconsistent from week to week. A good effort makes him one of few threats to the top choice in the race. (1) BIEBER HANOVER bumps up a notch after two decent efforts against weaker.
Race 8
(1) WICKED SUGAR was impressive last week drawing off late. The sophomore filly looks to have much more in the tank. (3) RV MARCIE is just now back in racing shape and has room to improve third start back off the long layoff. (4) LA VIE EST BELLE picks up a huge driver change.
Race 9
(5) ALL PIPED UP broke his maiden last week against a similar field. (8) TINOS BADBOY has some question marks switching to the half-mile track but is facing significantly weaker. (3) SCOOT-N-NYA was very close at this level a few races back.
Race 10
(2) HALL N BRO can build upon a good first effort off the bench. (1) SECRET TRAINER owns more ability than what he shows. (5) CRUZE ON OVER adds second time Lasix facing weaker.
Race 11
(6) GIOVANNI put in a big effort last week closing from a tough spot. (5) READYSETLETSROLL is another inconsistent pacer capable of going a fast mile when he wants to. (3) AMERICHI raced well against similar three back.
Race 12
(9) MAN OF FIRE keeps the top driver getting sent out for a high percentage barn. (2) COMMAND THE FIRE draws inside and has decent gate speed. (6) PEMBROKE SNAPSHOT is a 14-year-old trotter that will offer a huge price and can hit the ticket with a good setup.
Race 13
(5) ACTING CAPTAIN should be ready for a good effort third start back off the layoff. (4) HANKY L owns back class on the field when right. (9) MCLASSIC picks up a huge driver change but needs to find a way into the race.
Race 14
(6) BOLD CREATION scored a lifetime mark last week impressively. (5) ONEMOREBRO might be one of few in the race that is capable of trotting with the top choice. (2) HERE’S JOLENE has trouble finishing her miles; use underneath.
Race 15
(8) CORTEZ is a lightly raced 3-year-old that is one of few in the race with upside. (9) DOOWRAH LIGHTNING owns a win and a second in his last two at this level. (5) CROOKSHANKS gets sent out for top connections against an inexperienced field full of question marks.
Race 16
(4) HILLBILLY HANOVER drops down to the bottom level third start back off the bench. (6) YANKEE OSBORNE is one of the faster pacers in the field with a trouble-free trip. (2) DIVINE FATE has just been racing evenly and is probably best used underneath.
