(4) MOONTAN will look to drop and pop down in class. (5) WITHOUT ME AS has been competitive against better on the year. (6) SWAN YANKEE might offer the best value of the contenders.
Race 2
(4) MONARCH BAUR is one of few in the race with upside. The trotter should improve third time out. (7) JUST FRIENDS filly has just been racing evenly but faces weaker. (1) SPIDER THE BITER makes his second start off the layoff with the best post.
Race 3
(1) ROSE RUN RAE gets the best post off two decent efforts. (5) HARLAND will offer a monster price and had some sneaky late trot last week. (6) COVINA filly showed a decent burst off the gate last out; threat.
Race 4
(3) INTENSE LOVER lightly raced filly gets sent out for a top barn against a very weak field. (8) PLAYERS CROQUETTE filly gets a terrible starting post but could pick up the pieces with a good setup. (4) TOMORROWS KINGDOM is one of few in the race with upside.
Race 5
(5) ONE SNEAKY PETE three-year-old gelding can beat this bunch with a smooth trip. (1) GO DEMON GO couldn't seal the deal last week with a perfect setup; use caution. (6) ELI ELI O showed some improvement in the recent qualifier.
Race 6
(2) FULL MOON RAGE scored a good second at this level last week. (9) SONG OF THE WEST doesn't look the best on paper but could be closer turning for home at a big price. (1) LIMA ILLUSION gets the best post against a field full of question marks.
Race 7
(1) JAILHOUSE TUFF flashed some ability before the scratch a few weeks back. The 10-year-old trotter was good last week and now gets the best post. (6) SUMMER INDIAN was an easy winner last start but will offer low value. (3) TIPONTAB doesn't win often but is capable with a trouble free trip.
Race 8
(1) CONNOR HANOVER picks up the top driver with the best post. (6) DALLAS SEELSTER dropped and popped last week against weaker. The pacer has had trouble winning at this level. (7) DUSTO is very inconsistent from week to week. A good effort puts him in the mix.
Race 9
(4) BELLE'SVICTORYRING will look to make it six straight wins this year. (3) ANN-E OAKS well bred filly might be the only threat to the top choice but would need more. (9) SWEET ADELINE raced extremely well from a tough spot last start.
Race 10
In a very tough race to gauge, (1) JUMP THE SHARK finally gets a good starting post; big chance. (3) MAGIC MANNY scored against weaker last out. The 6-year-old is probably the horse to beat. (6) MAYFIELD HANOVER just missed against similar two back.
Race 11
(9) MONTANA SKIES has been knocking on the door against similar; threat. (4) HIGH BLUE picks back up the top driver for a hot barn. (8) STAR CHIP needs to find a way into the race but is certainly fast enough in the right scenario.
Race 12
(4) FAST ROLL lightly raced filly looks better than this group; short price. (2) LOOK KIMBO has a win and a second in two starts on the year; threat. (9) VICIOUS ALOICIOUS owns a decent burst of speed when timed right.
Race 13
In a wide open and evenly matched race, (5) SJ'S BLISSFUL GUY takes a significant drop in class against weaker. (9) POW CHICKA POW POW has yet to win on the year but is one of the faster pacers in the race. (1) BRANDED GUN pacer gets a huge morning line but is probably best used underneath.
Race 14
(6) ROCKIN H CHEERY O drops all the way to the bottom level. (1) REALLY REALY SWEET has just been racing evenly but does get the best post in a weak field. (8) FAWN DE J morning line favorite has his work cut out for him from the far outside; command a price.
Race 15
(1) LIGHTNINGINTHESKY will be dangerous with an easy early lead. (2) LETS BE TRUTHFUL should be in line for a nice trip up close. (3) MACHINIST hasn't won in two years; use underneath.
Race 16
(8) WHO'S YOUR MADDY might be able to score if the pacer rations out his speed; fires early. (4) LET'S GO picks up a huge driver change at the bottom level. (1) VELOCITY U BET has room to improve third start back off the layoff.
