1,2,4,6 / 1,4 / 2,3,4 / 2 = $24
Race 1
(4) AT MY REQUEST is a nice-looking trotter that has lots of room to improve in his second start back. (3) JAMES KENNY faces weaker and adds Lasix. (1) I COULD CARE LESS was really good in the most recent qualifier.
Race 2
(7) SANTANNA SOUL set a lifetime mark last week and was the driver’s choice. (6) CAMS VALENTINO is a lightly raced pacer that comes off a scratch but has some ability. (4) MCMOOSE was also an easy winner last out, but the top driver opted off.
Race 3
(6) ROSE RUN SAMPSON is a threat with a decent spot off the gate. (7) MEADOWBROOK GLIDER will look to make it two straight wins at this level. (1) GRAPHITE raced well from a tough post last week.
Race 4
(1) CAMCUN can beat this bunch with a similar effort to his last start. (2) DOC BETTS’ BUCKEYE went a huge three quarters of a mile last week before fading late. (6) PICK SIX needs a fast pace to close into for his best chance.
Race 5
(7) FULL TROT is a 3-year-old filly that looks to have some ability coming off a nice first race back. (5) FACTS OF LIFE gets a post edge on the top choice. The lightly raced filly has room to improve in her third start back. (1) CARPATHIA SMOKE gets the best post in a field full of question marks.
Race 6
Well-bred (4) ROLL BACK is one of a few in the race with some upside and he should offer a good price. (5) WHOSUR DRAGON needed the start last week; threat. (6) NATURALLY BAD gets sent out for a proven barn.
Race 7
(6) MYSTICAL POWER has been facing much tougher. The 4-year-old has shown a decent burst of speed when timed right. (4) NORMA’S ROSE is a 12-year-old mare that isn’t what she once was but can still compete. (8) CODY COY draws a tough assignment first start back off a long layoff; use underneath.
Race 8
(6) HANGON MAN had some decent late pace last start at this level. The pacer will offer a big price in a wide open race. (4) HARDTS OR BETTER has yet to win on the year but should find this spot much more to his liking. (2) MCCUTCHEN just raced evenly last week; command a price.
Race 9
(4) LION IMAGE picks up a huge driver change. The 4-year-old is better than what he shows. (1) MAINSTREET PARTY has room to improve second start out for a new barn. (9) MUSICAL ROMANCE should be in a decent spot to save some ground before shaking loose late.
Race 10
(4) DELCO ROCKNROLL doesn’t look the best on paper but is due for a good effort. The pacer will offer a big price in a weak and inconsistent field. (3) VOLTAIRE gets sent out for a capable barn against slightly weaker. (2) ARROW is a well bred stallion that has been competitive at this level.
Race 11
(2) ANNIE’S ROCKETMAN will look to drop and pop down in class; fires early. (1) LATE BID TOM might be one of a few threats in the race to the top choice, but is probably best used underneath. (3) CHAD bumps up in class off an easy win.
Race 12
Three-year-old filly (1) THREE SECRETS gets sent out first start for new connections off a good qualifier. (5) ASTROFFICAL had some late pace last week off a slow middle half. (2) SHEPULLEDTHEGOALIE is a well bred filly that gets a good starting post against a suspect bunch.
Race 13
(1) SOMEKINDAPARTY will be tough to beat with a good effort. The pacer drops in class and gets the best starting post. (3) JIMMY RIP picks up the top driver but does come off a scratch. (4) BORN TO ROCKN ROLL also picks up a significant driver change; threat.
Race 14
(5) CARBON FOOTPRINT is a veteran trotter that looks to offer a big price and has been close against much better in recent. (4) KICK A LOT gets sent out for a provisional pilot but does own a win at this level on the year. (3) CRAZY EYES always offers a good price and just raced well against tougher.
Race 15
In the weakest field on the card, (1) LOGAN COUNTY RALPH is capable of a good effort against this group. (2) FOX VALLEY DISCO would probably be the horse to beat with a different driver. (3) IRISH IHADA HARLEY has been competitive against tougher on the year.
Race 16
(3) GREAT ARTIST had no excuse last week, tiring late at 10 cents on the dollar; use caution. (4) MCENROE HALL can threaten the top choice with an effort similar to the recent qualifier. (2) LIMA RITCH doesn’t win often but always blows up the tote board once or twice a year.
