(5) SOME HEART THROB well-bred stallion fits in with this bunch and will offer a big price. (4) DASH POINT HANOVER morning line favorite rarely wins; use caution. (1) AMERICAN SCHNAPPS takes a huge drop down with the best post. (9) LUCKY REI needed the start last week and is another dropper in the race.
Race 2 – NW2/20000 Lifetime
(4) ELLAGANT CHAPTER lightly raced gelding goes for three wins in a row for the new connections. (7) V-KEY’S BLAZER has hit the board in three straight. (5) MR BUCKAROO could be ready for a better effort this week. The pacer draws a better post second start over the track. (1) TT’S EBONY should be in line for a great trip up close.
Race 3 – NW1/7500 Lifetime / AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(5) B ANKING just missed against better last week racing gamely. (1) FULTON’S FURY owns a win at this level and picks up a big driver change. (4) MOTOWN MISSILE could be closer turning for home this week. (8) CAMPAIGNING KID will offer a much better price and owns ability.
Race 4 – NW4/30000 Lifetime
(5) GENERAL JACKSON has been tremendous for the new barn and goes for three straight. (2) KODA BEAR gelding might be one of few threats in the race if he minds his manners. (4) UPTOWN BI was no match for the top choice last week; use underneath. (8) GONNAWISHONASTAR is really sharp right now but gets saddled with a tough post.
Race 5 – NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(5) S MCKEE finds a soft spot to gain some confidence. (2) GLADSTONE ROCKY looks as good as some of the other contenders and will offer a bigger price. (1) HAPPY IKE draws the best post in a weak field full of question marks. (3) LET’S GO TO PADDYS is just now back in racing shape after the layoff and drops down a notch.
Race 6 – NW4/30000 Lifetime / AE NW6/40000 Lifetime/20000 Claimer
(9) POWER OF LUCK gelding needs a good setup but is more than capable of beating this bunch. (5) HERE’S JOLENE will be tough to beat with an easy early lead. (3) LUCKYCOMPETER was solid in the qualifier and gets sent out for top connections. (1) BART has yet to be close at this level but should be in line for a nice ground-saving trip.
Race 7 - NW3300L5– **$10K GTD Pick 4**
(2) HILLTOP GINGER could be ready for an improved effort down in class. (7) DELRAY DUDE was an easy winner when last seen at this level; short price. (1) SENATOR CHARLIE bumps up a notch off a win against easier. (6) DAN D DUNE is one of the faster pacers in the field with a good setup.
Race 8 – NW1/7500 Lifetime
(3) SMILING WILL gelding is one of few in the race with some upside. (5) MJG CAPTAINCHUCKIE picks up a huge driver change off a decent effort at this level. (2) POMPANO-PETE is a consistent cash burner at this level; use caution. (1) DOMINO BOY draws the rail and needed the start last week.
Race 9 - NW3000L5
(5) HENPECKED just missed at this level two back. (4) ME THE BOSS gelding is inconsistent from week to week but a good effort puts him in the mix. (6) I’VE GOT SPIRIT picks up a top driver off a good effort. (7) POP I owns a decent burst of speed when timed right.
Race 10 - NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(4) CLOCK ROCKER looks to make it two straight at this level and five straight overall. (9) UNMARKED CAR put in a big maiden breaking score last week being used multiple times. (2) PW HULKER put in a much-improved effort last week. (1) MCLEISH has hit the board in six straight races.
Race 11 - NW2/20000 Lifetime/ AE NW3/30000 Lifetime/15000 Claimer - **$10K GTD Pick 4**
(1) SPLIT RAIL just missed at this level two back. (2) DEAD EYE DAN gets sent out for top connections against a weak and inconsistent field. (6) BLAZINBERRIES is capable of beating this bunch with an ideal setup. (4) THE LINK OF ART needs racing luck; use underneath.
Race 12 - NW1/7500 Lifetime / AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(1) WESTERN DRIVE just got picked off late at this level last race. (2) FLIGHTY HALL flashed some ability as a 3-year-old and is probably ready for an improved effort second start off the bench. (3) DRAGON PURPLECHIPS burned cash last week as the favorite; command a price. (7) SKYWAY SCHWARBER has been competitive in two of three starts since the layoff.
Race 13 – NW1000L5- **$10K GTD HI-5**
(6) BETTOR THAN YOU veteran pacer might be getting a big enough drop down to get back on track. (9) HANKY L probably needs a start but is one of the faster pacers in the field. (4) ALL ACCESS the effort a few starts back would put the pacer very close. (3) COACH KEN fits in with this bunch and can pull the upset in the right scenario.
Race 14 – NW1/10000 Lifetime/7500 Claimer
(1) YOUDA BOMBAY just needs a smooth trip racing off a helmet to hit the ticket at a big price. (3) REAL FOXY LADY has been knocking on the door at this level; threat. (4) STATELY IDEAL adds second-time Lasix but has failed as the favorite in four of five races. (9) CAM GOOD LOOKIN should be closer turning for home this week.
Race 15 – FM NW1/7500 Lifetime / AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(9) PASSMROCKNROSE finds a very soft bunch; big chance. (6) SHEILAS BAD GIRL filly is one of few in the race with some upside. (5) IDEAL DRAGON is one of few in the race with a win over the track. (2) CARIBBEAN DIAMOND has just been racing evenly and is best used underneath.
