(2) STORMONT DUNDAS has been facing tougher out east. The 5-year-old gets sent out first start for capable connections. (4) AT MY REQUEST was sharp last week showing a big burst of speed. (6) CINDERELLAS DRESS ran into a buzz saw last out but should find this spot softer.
Race 2
(4) BLOCKING THE WAY gets a much better starting spot after four starts off a long layoff. (5) RALPH R has been competitive against better on the year. (7) SPIES AN LIES will offer a big price but needs a good setup.
Race 3
(7) HENPECKED four-year-old mare had a spectacular year last year reaching the winner circle twelve times. (3) TIMELESS UTAH needs to stay trotting but will be tough to beat with a good effort. (5) J-S MISS CAROLYN has some upside getting sent out fourth start for new connections.
Race 4
(5) PAINTED TRUTH will look to make it two straight at this level; short price. (2) JOHN L has been competitive at this level. (1) PAUL’S JUST PLAYIN raced well first start over the track.
Race 5
(7) BIG BRO had no excuse last week racing poorly. The 5-year-old will need a bounce back effort but looks to own the most ability. (3) OBSESSED BLUE CHIP impeccably bred mare was a two move winner from out of the eight-hole last week. (2) ANASTASIA GEM finally draws a good post. The mare does own a decent burst when timed right.
Race 6
(1) INSTANT THRILL nine-year-old was tremendous last week just missing against a tougher bunch. (7) FREEDOMFORMYSOUL takes a huge drop down in class but will need a good early spot off the gate. (4) ALBERT A’ SCOOTIN is best used underneath.
Race 7
(7) SAKE four-year-old makes his third career start off two nice efforts. (2) ANDOVERTHEHILL should be closer turning for home this week. (9) LATTE JO trotting mare owns a win at this level but hasn’t been right in a few months.
Race 8
(9) VALIENTE STRIDE dropped and popped last week against softer. The 6-year-old can handle this bunch with a good setup. (3) VH BOXER is one of few in the race that's been competitive at this level. (6) ONEMORELASTCHANCE twelve-year-old looks to offer good value and has hit the board in two straight.
Race 9
In a tough race to gauge, (2) FERRISWHEEL JUNKIE should be closer turning for home this week. (1) GONNAKISSMEORNOT didn’t race well last start but finds a much softer bunch. (3) PICK UP THE TAB was one for forty last year; use underneath.
Race 10
(6) VELOCITY U BET is a major player at this level and looks to offer a better price this week. (1) WESTERN CHURCHILL veteran pacer gets the best post in a field full of question marks. (2) JUMPIN JACK J looks to be in line for a ground saving trip up close.
Race 11
(1) SHARK CONTROL had some sneaky late pace last week from a tough spot. (6) MUFFMASTER was right there on the wire last out against similar. (5) JIMMY RIP had no excuse last race; command a price.
Race 12
(1) WINBAK CHARLES M gelding shows a lack of late fight in his recent miles but faces softer shipping in from Dover. (6) BARRYSCOURT has an excellent record of finishing in the money. (4) MAYFAIR KATE burned cash last start at this level with easy fractions; command a price.
Race 13
(2) PECK BLUE CHIP well bred pacer drops down a notch and will be used aggressively. (1) MCPORT IN A STORM raced well from the same spot last week. (3) ROCKIN INDY is inconsistent from week to week but a good effort puts him in the mix.
Race 14
(1) SONG IN MY HEART well bred trotter can score at a price with a trouble free trip. (3) MAJOR MATTER had some late trot last week once the 5-year old was free in the lane. (7) HUPOMONE picks up a huge driver change.
Race 15
(1) REAL KNOCK OUT finds a weak and inconsistent field; threat. (7) Q COBRA JET would have been the horse to beat with a better starting post. (3) SB ON MY HONOR has been close in two straight.
