(3) SAKE lightly raced 4-year-old has the highest ceiling in the field. (2) ANASTASIA GEM looks to be in line for a nice trip up close. (6) WILD WHISKEY drops down a notch for capable connections.
Race 2
In a field with few contenders, (3) MODEL NINETYFOUR needs a trouble-free trip to score. The pacer will likely offer the better price of the contenders. (5) MAN HE CAN SKOOT dominated weaker last start; fires early. (6) MCCUTCHEN raced very well last out against similar.
Race 3
(7) HENPECKED made an unfortunate break from the rail last week. This mare is fast when on her 'A' game. (3) SASS has been competitive against much better; short price. (5) BLOCKING THE WAY is starting to round into form despite making a miscue last out.
Race 4
(2) CROW FOOT has only one lifetime win in twenty-five career starts but gets a big post advantage on his main competition. (1) OLIVE TO WIN gets the best post in a field full of question marks. (7) BOUNCING BRO needed the start last week and has room to improve at a big price.
Race 5
(2) FLY'N ELLIE mare doesn't inspire a ton of confidence but does show more ability than most of the field. (5) LATTE JO is one of few in the race with a win at this level. (1) MYBIGBROWNEYEDGIRL will offer a big price; use underneath.
Race 6
(9) BERGERAC has been off three weeks but shows some decent efforts against tougher. (1) GUNNIN' FORAFIGHT picks up a huge driver change down in class with the best post. (2) HICKORY TERRIFIC shows a good effort three back but has come up empty in two straight; use caution.
Race 7
(6) GONNAKISSMEORNOT has hit the board in two of three at this level. (9) ROCKIN H CHEERY O could need another start but fits in with this bunch nicely. (4) PEMBROKE SNAPSHOT owns a decent burst of speed off the gate.
Race 8
(1) GOLD COAST MUSCLE went from awesome to empty last week. If the gelding bounces back he could win unchallenged. (6) ODIN BLUE CHIP will have a tougher trip this week but scored an easy win last week at this level. (4) WESTERN CHURCHILL has just been racing evenly; command a price.
Race 9
(2) MUSTODIAN looks terrible on paper but has been competitive against similar. (1) BEAUTY CHIP was very close at this level two back. (3) FORT COMMANDER has not threatened at this level in quite some time; use underneath.
Race 10
(2) HANKY L finally draws a good starting post and will be used aggressively. (1) DUSTO finally snapped out of a long funk last week racing gamely. (7) JUST CROWNED classy pacer can beat this bunch with a good setup.
Race 11
In a weak and inconsistent field (1) CHANG DYNASTY gets the best post and shows some competitive lines in this class. (3) P C SHOCKWAVE has two seconds in four races which is better than most of the field. (2) TERROR OF THETRACK closed nicely against similar last race.
Race 12
(2) MUSCLE ON BROADWAY has just been racing evenly but can threaten at a price with a smooth trip. (1) HOORAY FOR WILLIE should be much closer turning for home this week. (3) HERBINATOR burned cash against weaker last out; command a price.
Race 13
(7) UBETTERUBETTERUBET could use some racing luck but takes a significant drop in class. (5) FIRM IT UP has been knocking on the door against better and is the horse to beat. (4) READYSETLETSROLL has an excellent lifetime win percentage despite burning cash at this level last week.
Race 14
(5) DESPERADO ALIBI is just now back in racing shape and should improve third start back with a better post. (1) NOAH'S SHARK gets a big post advantage down in class. (4) D GS SUAVEMENTE has just been racing evenly; command a price.
Race 15
(6) TASSIES LITTLE ART The pacer will offer value and is worth a play especially if the track is fast. (2) THUNDER NOISE takes a huge dropdown with a top driver; short price. (1) FUTOMAKI gets the best post against an inconsistent bunch.
