Race 2 – NW2/20000 Lifetime/ AE NW3/30000 Lifetime/15000 Claimer
(8) CELEBRITY LOPEZ bumps up a notch off an impressive win and will offer another big price. (1) SPLIT RAIL has hit the board in six of seven since the trainer change. (2) O U FIREFLY burned cash last week and has a tendency to lack stamina late. (3) STARS AND STONES has room to improve second start back off the layoff and adds second-time Lasix.
Race 3 – NW2000L5
(1) SWAN ON THE BANK veteran trotter finds a soft spot. (9) SL ROYAL GEORGE gelding needs a smooth trip from the second-tier and is the horse to beat if he minds his manners . (2) JUDY THE BEAUTY should be closer turning for home this week facing easier. (4) SHEER ACTION rarely wins but has been competitive against better on the year.
Race 4 – NW1/10000 Lifetime/7500 Claimer
(5) DREAMINALLTHETIME went a decent three-quarters of a mile last week before tiring late. (4) STATELY IDEAL has burned cash as the favorite in three of four against better. The well-bred pacer is 0 for his career but does drop down a notch. (6) WILL SEE YOU EJ has hit the board in four of five at this level. (1) CAM GOOD LOOKIN picks up a positive driver change and draws the rail against a suspect bunch.
Race 5 – NW4/30000 Lifetime / AE NW6/40000 Lifetime/20000 Claimer
(4) HERE COMES MOONY set a lifetime mark last week; short price. (1) SECRET TRAINER could be in line for a decent trip up close. (2) SLICK SARAH owns gate speed with a good post. (6) MISTERPINE CREDIT has been much-improved in recent efforts.
Race 6 – NW1/7500 Lifetime
(2) CLOCK ROCKER drew off last week against a similar bunch last out. (1) ISLAND CLUB picks up a top driver with the best post. (4) SKYWAY SCWARBER lightly raced pacer is one of few in the field with some upside. (3) RIDEWITHTHEDEVIL finally showed some signs of life last week.
Race 7 - NW2000L5– **$10K GTD Pick 4**
(5) MCLUCKY takes a big drop down against weaker with a better starting post. (4) SILVER SPIR eleven-year-old stallion has paced decent miles in two straight. (2) UNIX HANOVER will offer low value and rarely wins; command a price. (1) BUBBIE BOY shows a good effort against better a few back.
Race 8 – 5000 Claimer
(9) CAUSWAY has disappointed in two straight but will offer a much better price this week. (4) WATERSIDE CHAMP needs to race off a helmet for his best chance; fires early. (2) EZY BISCUIT drops back down a notch; threat. (1) TERROR OF THETRACK jumps up with a big effort at a price from time to time.
Race 9 - NW4/30000 Lifetime / AE NW6/40000 Lifetime/20000 Claimer
(8) POWER OF LUCK will need some luck from the far outside but the 4-year-old trotter has been sharp in recent. (5) K’ LOVE if the gelding is ready he has more ability than most of the field. (6) SHESGOTTAMISSION can be in the mix with a decent setup. (1) BART draws the rail but has yet to be competitive at this level.
Race 10 – NW1000L5
(9) TYLERS GREAT was roughed up last week against better. The 11-year-old should be ready for an improved effort with an easier trip. (6) OUT WIT takes a significant drop in class against weaker. (2) Y S JOE shows some good efforts at this level. (8) GIUSEPPE MOLLUSCA is one of the faster pacers in the field.
Race 11 – NW4500L5 / AE 8000 Claimer - **$10K GTD Pick 4**
(7) SKIM THE TOP raced great first start out for a new barn. A repeat of that effort might make it two straight. (4) FRANKY’S BEACH BOY well-bred pacer gets sent out for top connections. (1) COPPER COAST A drops back down a notch and draws the rail. (3) THINK BIGGER drew off last week against softer.
Race 12 - NW2/20000 Lifetime/ AE NW3/30000 Lifetime/15000 Claimer
(2) ACTION B was an easy winner at this level last race; short price. (9) UPTOWN BI gelding owns a win and three second’s in his five. (1) ANASTASIA ROCKY owns a decent burst of speed when timed right. (3) BLAZINBERRIES shows some wins but would need more.
Race 13 – NW3000L5- **$10K GTD HI-5**
(4) BET ON BRETT should earn a victory with a similar effort to his last start. (1) STONEBRIDGE TONIC burned cash against weaker last race and now bumps up in class; command a price. (3) PACE SEELSTER raced well last week just missing. (2) LIBERAL shows some competitive efforts against similar and will offer a big price.
Race 14 – NW1/7500 Lifetime/ AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(4) ANGRY ANNIE will offer the best price of the contenders. (5) POMPANO-PETE has been much-improved in three straight; short price. (7) QROWN FASHION doesn’t look the best on paper but is one of the fastest trotter’s in the field. (3) CAMPAIGNING KID finished a solid second at this level before the miscue.
Race 15 – NW2000L5
(1) MCKINLEY starts from the rail and raced gamely last week in this class. (3) PAVARATTI BLUECHIP will look to drop and pop; short price. (5) SOME HEART THROB well-bred stallion is another dropper in the race that could be in the mix with a smooth trip. (2) COACH KEN should be in line for a ground saving trip up close.
