(2) SOUTHWIND TOSCANO well bred colt has yet to be worse than second in five career starts. (4) HARLAND shows a decent effort against better over the track. (5) COMMAND THE FIRE owns a good burst of speed off the gate.
Race 2
(1) FAITH PREVAILS will look to make it 10 of 15 on the year; short price. (2) GRANDROSA filly could get a crack at the top choice late. (7) VELOCITY LAYLA will have a much tougher time getting the lead this week.
Race 3
(3) ONLY LIVE ONCE filly faces a much weaker bunch this week; short price. (4) PRETTYFACEUGLYWAYS filly has room to improve second start over the track. (1) ONESTRONG MAGARITA should be in line for an excellent trip up close.
Race 4
In a very tough race to handicap, (2) WILD NORDIC was very close against similar two back. (1) VICTORY CANDY MAN gets the best post in a weak and inconsistent field. (6) SCREAMIN DREAMIN owns the most wins in the field on the year.
Race 5
(5) JOHNS BABY GIRL had no excuse last week with soft early fractions. The filly might have needed the start and should offer a better price. (4) HULA SHUFFLE will be much closer turning for home this week. (1) MISS BLING has just been racing evenly; command a price.
Race 6
(9) GO GO GEORGE three-year-old has been getting better and just missed to a nice opponent last week. (3) JESSIE STAR is one of few in the race with early gate speed. (6) AGENT HANNA picks up a huge driver change.
Race 7
(2) PARTY AT THE BANKS scored a big upset last week against similar. (1) CONWAY CHEERS well bred gelding gets sent out for capable connections with the best post. (3) EVERYROSEHASATHORN filly has just been racing even; use underneath.
Race 8
In another wide open race, (4) MUSTANG TOM will offer a square price and has been knocking on the door. (2) HIGH AND TIGHT couldn't seal the deal against weaker in the last few but has shown a big burst of speed. (1) WESTERN COBY gets the best post in an inconsistent field.
Race 9
(4) DEW IN THE DESERT set a lifetime mark last out impressively. (3) SWAN YANKEE is one of the faster trotters in the race by far. (1) SNEAKY SAM is also capable of a good effort and will be sitting in an excellent spot to do some damage late.
Race 10
(9) FRIDAYNIGHTFLIGHT eight-year-old has been competitive against better on the year. (3) TWINKLE LIKE ASTAR comes into the race off a break but does show some good efforts at this level. (1) TWIN B HOLLISTER gets sent out first start for a new barn picking up a big driver change.
Race 11
(1) FLYHAWK POP ROCKS gets the best post in a field full of question marks. (3) CHICAGO SKY two-year-old filly has room to improve in her second career start. (4) DING DING DINGER has flashed some ability on the fair circuit but needs a smooth trip.
Race 12
(1) MOONTAN has been bet down to the favorite at this level in two of the last three. The 8-year-old gets a much better starting post and should be closer turning for home. (9) SBD INDIE ROCK mare isn't as sharp as she was earlier in the year. However the 4-year-old keeps the top driver and is a threat. (5) POP MY BUTTONS has yet to win on the year; use underneath.
Race 13
(2) SHADOW ME THEMONEY just missed at a price last week against similar. (3) STRAIGHT DANCER finds a really weak field. (1) NO FOREIGN XCHANGE has lots of room to improve second start back off a layoff.
Race 14
(2) T T TUCKER has been really sharp before the miscue last week. If the 7-year-old minds his manners he can score at a price. (9) ROSE RUN OSCAR dominated weaker last start. (8) NORTHERN SPARK needs to find a way into the race but can threaten with a good setup.
Race 15
(2) I'M DONE TALKING looks to be in line for another good trip up close. (1) UPTOWN DINGER has just been racing evenly but does get the best starting post. (4) FRISKIE TEDDY has lots of room to improve first start out in a new barn.
