Greg Reinhart|Jun 20, 2026

Trainer Ron Burke and sire Lather Up were both responsible for a pair of winners in Ohio Sires Stakes events for 3-year-old pacers on Saturday night at Northfield Park.

Burke won a $75,000 colt and gelding event with Skull N Crossbones, who got up at the wire from the pocket to score in 1:52 for driver Ronnie Wrenn Jr. and owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., Weaver Bruscemi LLC., Country Club Acres Inc. and Joe Sbrocco, and a $50,000 filly flight with Laude Da (Chris Page), who went two-wide from the pocket before three-quarters and wore down leader KB Wrecking Ball (Dan Noble) late to prevail in 1:53 4/5 for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., Weaver Bruscemi LLC. and Knox Services Inc.

Skull N Crossbones, by Downbytheseaside, was also bred by Country Club Acres Inc. and Joe Sbrocco. He has a summary of 3-1-3 from 15 starts, has earned $120,426 and paid $29 to win.

By Summa Cum Laude, Laude Da was bred by her current owners along with Let It Ride Stables Inc. She has three wins, four seconds and three thirds from 12 appearances, has pocketed $185,137 and returned $5.40 to win.

Lather Up's victorious progeny were filly Laughing Two (Noble), who rallied out of the two-hole to score in 1:53 4/5 and colt Up In Place (Marvin Luna), as he pulled away on the lead in the stretch to deliver in 1:52 2/5.

Laughing Two, bred by Myron Yoder, is co-owned by trainer Jim Graham in partnership with Timothy Warner and Lee Winters. Laughing Two is a ten-time victor from 18 outings, has banked $62,428 and paid $19.20 to win.

John Barnard bred Tony Alagna-trained Up In Place and co-owns him with Alagna Racing LLC. Up In Place made his fifth trip to the winner's circle in his 12 trips behind the gate, has put away $117,175 and returned $2.40 to win.

Rodeo Dancer (Brett Miller), a daughter of Rodeo Romeo, took the remaining Ohio Sires Stakes tilt in 1:52 after she grabbed command just after the 27 3/5 quarter and never looked back.

Steve Bauder sent out Rodeo Dancer for owners/breeders Oompa's Farm Inc. and Robert Mondillo. Rodeo Dancer posted her fifth victory from 13 tries, has earnings of $129,200 and paid $3.40 to win.
