Northfield: Carryovers, guaranteed pools galore on Sunday night

The Sunday night (Dec. 28th) racing action at MGM Northfield Park will be triple-packed with carryovers.

Bettors can jump in early with the Pick 4 in Race 2 that features a hefty $7,186 carryover and an estimated $50,000 pool up for grabs. The value comes right back in Race 4 with a rare Pick 3 carryover of $3,578 triggering an estimated pool of $25,000. Lastly, there will be a Pick 6 carryover of $4,075 in Race 8.

All three wagers feature the player-friendly 14% takeout, and the guaranteed pool in the Pick 4 is offered in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Program.

Post time for the 15-race program on Sunday is 6 p.m. (EST), and MGM Northfield Park will race Sunday (Dec. 28), Tuesday (Dec. 30) and Thursday (Jan. 1) this coming week.
