Northfield: Carryovers, guaranteed pools aplenty on Wednesday

MGM Northfield Park has announced the additions of total pool guarantees of $50,000 in the Pick 4 and $30,000 in the Pick 5 for Wednesday (February 17).

The second race starts the Pick 4. The $50,000 total pool guarantee also has a $11,852 carryover.

Beginning in race six, the $30,000 Pick 5 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $6,474.

Race eight starts the 50-cent (non-jackpot) Pick 6, and it has a $2,343 carryover.

The guarantees are being offered as part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.

Northfield's Pick 5, Pick 4s, Pick 3s, 50ٕ-cent (non-jackpot) Pick 6 and 20-cent Super High Five offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent.
