Nominations open for Fasig-Tipton summer horses of racing age sale

Nominations are now being accepted for the Fasig-Tipton summer selected horses of racing sale, to be held July 15 following the auction company’s July selected yearling sale at Newtown Paddocks in Lexington, Ky.

The auction company recommends submitting nominations to the sale by June 1, but entries will be taken up to a week before the sale. The catalog will be online-only to accommodate for late entries, but will be available in print format at the time of the sale.

Additionally, prospective buyers will receive email alerts when new entries are added to the catalog, along with pedigree and racing updates, race entries, race results, and workout information for all sale horses.

“For a horse coming off a good race or showing good form, the mid-summer timing of the sale is ideal,” said Boyd Browning Jr., president of Fasig-Tipton Co., “We will be looking for horses with meaningful racing potential to showcase to the sport’s leading buyers.”
