No pick-6 winners from Aqueduct's Sunday program; carries over to Thursday
?q=100)
OZONE PARK, N.Y. - The trend of the pick-6 not getting hit at Aqueduct this fall on Sunday continued as no one hit the wager for the fifth Sunday of the meet, resulting in a pick-6 carryover of $124,239 into Thursday’s card.
There was a carryover of $44,954 into Sunday’s card after the wager was not hit on Saturday. There was $139,096 wagered in the pick-6 Sunday, but victories by Gregorian Solo ($30.40) and Shesalittle Edgy ($24) assured there would be a carryover even before the last leg of the sequence was run.
There have been six Sunday cards held this fall at the Belmont at the Big A meet. Five of those cards ended in a pick-6 carryover and on the sixth Sunday, the pick-6, which had a carryover going into the day, was not offered because of the cancellation of one leg of the sequence.
There are eight races Thursday at Aqueduct and the pick-6 will begin on race 3 (1:41 p.m. Eastern). There are three turf races in the sequence and the forecast is favorable for fast and firm conditions as rain has been as scarce as bettors hitting the Sunday pick-6.
