No Parole works fast for H. Allen Jerkens

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - As he did prior to No Parole’s victory in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens, trainer Tom Amoss gave No Parole a sharp workout Friday morning, with the colt going a half-mile in 46.36 seconds over Saratoga’s main track. He galloped out five furlongs in 59.53.
No Parole is preparing for a start in the Grade 1 H. Allen Jerkens next Saturday.

“I wanted to put something more than a casual work into my horse,” Amoss said. “I demanded a finish from him in the workout. “It went well, he galloped out well.”
The Jerkens is expected to come up a serious race with Captain Bombastic, Collusion Illusion, Echo Town, Eight Rings, Liam’s Pride, Mischevious Alex, Tap It to Win and Three Technique all expected to run.
