No Nay Mets returns to work tab

No Nay Mets, a three-time stakes winner and the beaten favorite in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint, worked a half-mile in 50.77 seconds over the Palm Beach Downs turf course Friday morning. It was his first published workout, but trainer George Weaver said No Nay Mets had been breezing on the farm before coming to him.
Weaver said options for No Nay Mets include the Texas Glitter Stakes at Gulfstream on March 23 or the $250,000 Palisades at Keeneland on April 7.
No Nay Mets began his career with a victory in the Royal Palm Juvenile at Gulfstream last year, which led to a trip to Royal Ascot where he finished ninth in the Group 2 Norfolk.
“He’s a happy racehorse, loves his job, a trainer’s dream,” Weaver said.
Crimson Advocate, the filly who won the Group 2 Queen Mary at Royal Ascot last year, is also back with Weaver. She has been breezing regularly since Feb. 1 and is targeting a return to the races in the $100,000 Melody of Colors at Gulfstream on March 24.
