No Breeders' Cup for Hannon's horses

Goldikova's bid for a record third Breeders' Cup Mile victory became a little easier on Wednesday when trainer Richard Hannon said that none of his three very good milers, Paco Boy, Canford Cliffs, or Dick Turpin, would be at Churchill Downs on Nov. 6 to challenge the brilliant mare.

Writing on his website, Hannon said, "I have three of the best milers in Europe, and Europe is where they will stay."

Hannon is 0 for 3 lifetime at the Breeders' Cup.

Hannon will point both Canford Cliffs and Dick Turpin to the July 28 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood, although Dick Turpin has the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly on July 4 as an option.
