Next stop stakes for Sensitively

ARCADIA, Calif. – Sensitively extended her winning streak to three races with an easy win in an optional claimer at Santa Anita on Thursday, leaving trainer Phil D’Amato dreaming of November.
“I wish the Breeders’ Cup was next month,” he said.
D’Amato and owners Antony Fanticola and Joe Scardino have the BC Filly and Mare Sprint here on Nov. 5 as a long-term goal for Sensitively, who has yet to win a stakes.
On Thursday, Sensitively won an optional claimer for fillies and mares at six furlongs by 5 3/4 lengths, leading throughout. She fought off a challenge from Fast and Foxy and won comfortably under jockey Tyler Baze.
“She’s changed so much this year,” Baze said. “Every race, she’s getting better and better. She’s special.”
Sensitively has won 4 of 7 starts and earned $148,210. Her 2015 season was disrupted by illness.
D’Amato said Sensitively likely will start in the $75,000 Desert Stormer Stakes for fillies and mares at six furlongs June 18 and could run in a graded stakes race this summer.
“She’s wicked fast and getting better at the same time,” he said. “We have to tackle stakes and see how she does there.”
