New York Racing Association hires chief financial officer

The New York Racing Association has hired Sue Stover, the former chief financial officer for Rosa Mexicana Restaurants, as its chief financial officer, the association announced on Friday.

Stover will oversee all of NYRA’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. NYRA has not had a chief financial officer since November 2011, when the association promoted Ellen McLain to executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Stover has been the chief financial officer of Rosa Mexicana since 2006. Prior to that, she was the controller of California Pizza Kitchen, and she has also served in financial positions at Decurion Corporation, AOL/Time Warner, BizBuyer.com, and The Walt Disney Company.
