New Year's Eve carryover at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. - The New Years Eve program at Santa Anita begins with a pick six carryover of $153,466.

It is the first pick six carryover of the 2007-08 meeting, which began last Wednesday.

Mondays pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m.

Five of the six races are on the main synthetic track. The lone turf race is the seventh race, the $75,000 Impressive Luck Handicap over about 6 1/2 furlongs.

The Impressive Luck has drawn a field of eight. Quietly Mine, who has drawn the outside, is the 5-2 favorite on the morning line, but Night Chapter, a 4-1 shot, is worth considering. He had a troubled trip in his last start, the Hollywood Turf Express in late November.
