New Jersey TBA to conduct stallion season auction

The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey will conduct its annual stallion season auction, to benefit the New Jersey-bred incentive program, online from Thursday, Jan. 30 through Monday, Feb. 4.

Bidding on the seasons will be offered online through the Starquine bidding platform.

The auction will feature bidding on seasons to 32 different stallions standing in New Jersey, Kentucky, New York, Maryland and Florida.

A $10,000 bonus is available to the stallion owner and the breeder of the first horse produced from one of the seasons to win a stakes race. If the foal is a registered New Jersey-bred, the bonuses will increase to $15,000.
