CINCINNATI - Needmore Flattery got a perfect trip to win the $75,000 Norm Barron Queen City Oaks at Belterra Park Sunday afternoon. Trained by Tim Hamm and ridden by Irwin Rosendo, Needmore Flattery was kept just off the slow early fractions in the 1 1/8-mile race. Rosendo asked the 3-year-old Ohio-bred filly for her best in the stretch, and she responded and drew off to a 2 1/4-length win. Crafty Blue Kat came from off the pace to take the place by a nose over Aim in third. The running time over a muddy, sealed track was 1:54.66 and Needmore Flattery returned $3 to win.
