National Handicapping Championship moves to Bally's for 2020
The National Handicapping Championship will return to Bally’s Las Vegas next year after more than a decade of being hosted by other Las Vegas casinos, according to the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, which administers the annual tournament.
The NTRA said that the NHC would be held at Bally’s for the next several years under a “multi-year agreement” with the casino’s parent company, Caesars Entertainment. Bally’s recently underwent a $125 million renovation, and the tournament will be held in the casino’s event center, which has nearly double the square footage of the previous site of the tournament, the NTRA said.
Bally’s Las Vegas previously hosted the NHC from 2003-2007. The tournament has been held at a handful of locations since then, most recently Treasure Island.
Next year’s tournament is scheduled for Feb. 7-9.
