Mykindasaint captures Princess Stakes

BOSSIER CITY, La. - Controlling the pace throughout, Mykindasaint drew steadily clear under Lonnie Meche to capture Sunday's Princess Stakes at Harrah's Louisiana Downs. Love then Beach finished five lengths back in second followed by Kathy's Rocket. The final time for the six furlongs was 1:12.56 over a fast track dulled by heavy rains on Saturday.

Mykindasaint ($3.80), a 2-year-old Saint Ballado filly trained by C. W. "Bubba" Casico, kept her record perfect with three wins in as many starts, having accounted for a maiden win at Lone Star and the Cassidy Stakes most recently at Calder. She picked up $30,000 for her winning connections on Sunday and has now won just under $67,000.
