Myboycharlie wins Morny

Myboycharlie charged to the head of the European 2-year-old class at Deauville on Sunday with a last-to-first victory in the Groupo1, $471,000 Prix Morny.

The cause of Myboycharlie, a son of Danetime, was aided by early-afternoon rain, which had quickly changed the going from good to soft. * On the Morny undercard, Satwa Queen took the Grouip2, $175,000 Prix Jean Romanet for the second year in succession. Fifth in last year's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf, the even money Jean de Roualle-trainee outdueled Bahia Breeze by a short head while covering the 1 1/4 miles in 2:11.10.
