Mr. Hustle enters Victoria Stakes off big debut win

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Sunday’s featured race at Woodbine is the $100,000 Victoria Stakes for 2-year-olds. The field is headlined by Mr. Hustle, who will be looking to build on his debut victory from June 16.
Mr. Hustle went right to the lead in his debut and drew away to win by 5 1/4 lengths, earning an 83 Beyer Speed Figure.
“I expected him to run well,” trainer Roger Attfield said. “But I didn’t expect him to run that well. With the type of training I put into him, I didn’t think he’d handle everything as well as he did.”
Mr. Hustle will face five others, including Joker On Jack, who was supplemented to the race by trainer Wesley Ward. After winning his maiden at Keeneland in April, Joker On Jack traveled to the U.K. for a start at Newbury, finishing seventh. He breezed four furlongs in 46 seconds flat on Polytrack at Arlington Park on Monday.
The field also features Clear Destination and Forester’s Fortune, who finished second and third behind Mr. Hustle on June 16, as well as first-time starters Old Chestnut and Curlin’s Voyage. Curlin’s Voyage also was supplemented to the race.
