ARCADIA, Calif. - The nine-race Mother’s Day program at Santa Anita on Sunday will start with a carryover of $43,628 in the $2 pick six. A win by Marjoram in Saturday’s ninth race, the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes, clinched the carryover. Marjoram paid $9.20 in a field of 10. Sunday’s pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a nine-race program that begins at 1 p.m. Pacific. The pick six races have fields of 5, 7, 7, 8, 7 and 11. The ninth race is the $100,000 Siren Lure Stakes at six furlongs on turf for older horses, the featured race of the day.
