More than 500 yearlings for F-T Texas sale

Fasig-Tipton Texas has cataloged 506 horses to its annual summer yearling sale, which will be held at Lone Star Park on Aug. 25-26. The sessions begin at 10 a.m. Central each day in the sales pavilion on the Lone Star backstretch.

Horses of interest in the catalog include a half-brother to multiple Grade 1 winner Premium Tap. Consigned by Legacy Bloodstock, the yearling is by Reformer Rally. There is also a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Postponed by Valid Expectations. Top racemares with offspring include Grade 2 winners Heart of Joy, who has a colt by High Demand; Wood So, who has a filly by Littlebitlively; and Punkin Pie, who has a colt by Value Plus. The Group 1-winning mare Pelusada has a filly by Marked Tree. Other stallions represented with offspring are Byars, Cactus Ridge, E Dubai, Eurosilver, Favorite Trick, Forest Wildcat, Kela, Kipling, Lion Heart, Midway Road, More Than Ready, Orientate, Pollard's Vision, Posse, Rock Hard Ten, Sky Mesa, Toccet, Valid Expectations, Yankee Gentleman, and Zavata.

* A select Quarter Horse yearling sale will be held Saturday at Lone Star. There are 104 horses cataloged to the fourth annual sale, which is produced by Eclipse Sales Co.
