Sunday's Brunch and Sonmar Pond won their New York Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old filly trotters on Monday afternoon at Monticello Raceway at odds of 22-1 and 6-1, respectively. Chapvious (Jason Bartlett) moved up on the outside to clear Inn Of The Stars (Tyler Buter) for the lead past the 29 1/5 quarter in the first $58,000 split and then reached the half in 59 seconds and the three-quarters in 1:29 as favored Royal Mission (Brett Beckwith) made progress after she came first-over out of the fifth position. On the last turn Chapvious made a break and went into the passing lane, which put Royal Mission on the lead turning for home and Inn Of The Stars to her inside. However, Sunday's Brunch (Jordan Stratton), who had been on the cones in third and fourth, fanned out widest on the final bend and rallied by both Inn Of The Stars and Royal Mission to win by 2 1/2 lengths in 1:57 4/5.  Phil Fluet trains Sunday's Brunch, a daughter of Devious Man, for owner Woodward Stable LLC. Bred by Bonnie Woodward, Sunday's Brunch, who didn't race as a 2-year-old, has three wins from eight starts and earnings of $58,720. Buter guided My Debt Collecter to the outside on the far turn, but she went off-stride, which allowed Sonmar Pond to cruise to a two length victory in 1:58 3/5. Calculus Risk (Stratton) was the runner-up and My Debt Collecter had to settle for third. A filly by Chapter Seven, Sonmar Pond is trained by Domenico Cecere for owner Lindy Farms of Connecticut.
