Monmouth Park in New Jersey is making two additional blocs of tickets available for Saturday’s Haskell Stakes, with the tickets set to go on sale online at the track’s website at 6 p.m. Eastern Wednesday. The track plans to sell 500 general-admission tickets that will provide access to the track’s picnic area, after selling 500 general-admission tickets online last week. The general-admission tickets will cost $100 each and provide a ticket-holder with admission, a hat, a program, and parking. Another bloc of 500 tickets will be made available for the Blu Grotto restaurant, which occupies the northern-most part of the picnic area. The tickets will cost $150 and include admission and a four-hour bar service. Spectators at Monmouth are required to wear face masks at all times, except when eating, drinking, and smoking. The Haskell Stakes card is Monmouth’s most high-profile racing program of the year. In addition to the 1,500 tickets being sold online, the track is allowing owners, horsemen, and guests of the race’s sponsors admittance into the track Saturday.
