Areek rolled to a three-length win in the three-horse $65,000 Red Cross Stakes for fillies and mares at Monmouth Park.
Areek ($3) ran the six furlongs over the sloppy track in 1:09.30 with Jose Velez Jr. aboard for trainer Mark Hennig. Thermal Ablasion was second with Welcome Home the trailer.
In the $60,000 Colts Neck Handicap for New Jersey-breds, War's Prospect ($7.40) set the pace and posted a 3 1/2 length win
