Race 1

(6) ESCUELA showed some trot for the first time in many races last week and now she comes up tagged. She has a good shot to win this and get claimed. (8) THE POWER OF MANY is solid in this class every week and she’s the one to beat. (7) NORTHERN STORMONT figures to be a late threat here if he can stay trotting this time. (3) SWAN FOR DEE is worth a look for use underneath racing first time off a claim.

Race 2

(5) IM WITH HER raced decently in her debut after starting from post 10. This is a good spot for her and she gets a much better post; top call. (3) PUEBLO BLUE CHIP – a $42K Harrisburg purchase – goes for a barn that sends them ready off a decent qualifier; using. (8) A BETTOR LADY passed some horses in a back half that was more than two seconds faster than the initial half. She is worth a look here and could be a great price. (2) APOTHIC can close late for a share.

Race 3

(2) TONY SOPRANO is in career-best from and while he faces better here, he should be up to it. (3) CHARMED LIFE made an uncharacteristic miscue last time. She is obviously one of the best ones in here. (1) ODDS ON AMETHYST should show more racing at a lower class and the inside post should be good for him. (4) WHISKEY TAX continues to take smaller shares and the trend will likely continue.

Race 4

(7) CAMEDOWNFROMHEAVEN paced a 55 3/5 middle half on his way to a blowout win. With that kind of speed in his arsenal, he should be competitive immediately on this circuit. (8) CHOCOLATE BISCUIT brings two solid first-up wins in a row to town and he is another invader that rates highly in this field. (6) FREDDY BEAR faltered when racing in a solid non-winners of 2 class. He could rebound vs. these and hit the ticket at a price. (4) ROCK THIS WAY exits a quick heat where he had no shot of chasing down the fired-up leader who set wild fractions throughout. He fits better here; consider.

Race 5

(1) O NARUTAC PERFETTO couldn’t chase down a class-dropping leader last week, but he should be able to find some cover here, which gives him a chance to get up late at a price. (5) CATCH THE DREAM should be tough racing at this level and Jamieson typically puts him in the race early; using. (3) LEXUS ROCKY steps up off the claim, but he isn’t impossible in this spot and should at least hit the super ticket. (6) MUSCLES FOR LIFE steps up off a sharp win, but a minor share is likely for him this time.

Race 6

(4) WINTER BLAST raced well two starts in a row at Mohawk but had bad trips in both before his most recent start at Georgian. Dropping back into a claimer I will stick with him, hoping luck evens out and he gets a decent trip. (6) NEXT THING SMOKEN is on a roll and is a must-use off the claim. (7) LISVINNIE drops and although he can be erratic, if he is reasonably sound, he could boss this group. (2) CHARMBO ORBIT should pass a few of these late and take a share.

Race 7

(10) MORE THAN TALK isn’t the safest play here, but with other contenders having already failed at this level many times, I’ll take a swing, 10-hole and all. (2) WINNING LYRIC is an obvious threat, but her seconditis is a bit worrisome. (3) TAMMY JO moves to a better post for her second start off the shelf; consider. (8) MR HOUDINI is another that has had many tries, but he has improving form and he should share here.

Race 8

(3) HILL OF A COLT comes off a strong win vs. similar and he should be very hard to beat here. (1) LEAN HANOVER should start better here which puts him in the picture. (4) MAJESTIC PRESENCE has been facing tougher and she could upset with the right trip. (6) FREE WILLY HANOVER should close in late for a smaller share.

Race 9

(5) ABSOLUTE INTENT faces two other contenders here that are a combined 0 for 39. He gets the nod. (2) JAYDENS PACE and (3) TREMENDOUS PLAY both exit the same very fast dash and should be used in the late Pick 4, but what price would you take on 0-18 and 0-21 horses that are sure to get bet? (8) KINGSTON SEELSTER is worthy of consideration making his debut out of the Brealey barn.

Race 10

All (5) DANCER HALL needed was a more aggressive steer to get the job done and he gets McNair now who isn’t shy to send one; call to repeat. (1) MIAMI steps up off a solid win and his improving form should be respected. (7) CAMERON HILL can be closer to the choice here if she gets a better start. (2) SOUTHWIND TESLA is capable, but she also likely has more lucrative New York Sires stakes upcoming; your call. (3) MONEY MISSION can ride a following trip to a share here.
