Race 1
(5) ASA IM READY had a rough trip from the 10-hole last time vs. similar. Moving to the middle of the gate gives her a better chance here; slight nod. (7) WINNING LYRIC got too far back early in the mile last week then couldn't seal the deal when the pace picked up. While he looks good in here, that same scenario could unfold. (4) LABERO was much better with Roy driving last time and he returns here; consider. (6) ALERT HANOVER can close for a smaller share again here.
Race 2
(5) MUSICAL RHYTHM has been steered aggressively by Filion in his past three starts, with good results. He has a good shot of controlling things again here. (3) CHARMED LIFE was best of the rest against a strong Flanagan Memory last week. She should be the main threat. (7) RENEGADE MAGIC is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris here as she will be passing some of these in the back half. (2) ODDS ON AMETHYST could better this placing if he can avoid a first up trip this time.
Race 3
(5) ILLUSIONEESTA wasn't asked for much in a conditioned race last week, but she did finish with trot while lacking room. She is sure to get put into play here going for $97K; top call. (6) COLLATERAL BEAUTY took control in a slow third quarter then drove away last time. While she is unlikely to get that same golden trip here, she is still a contender. (1) SMOKE AND MIRRORS finished well in her debut and Henry will likely move earlier this time; using. (8) APPRENTICE M - an $85K Lexington purchase - is a 1/2-sister to millionaire Charmed Life who goes in race 2. She's worth a long look here.
Race 4
(3) PLEASANT BEAUTY has two decent starts under her belt now she picks up McNair here; graduation time. (4) VILLAGE JAMIE requalified well after falling at the start of her 2017 debut. She can contend here if driven with some intent. (6) ONLY ONE STAR has a 27 flat kicker that jumps off the page from hr race last week. Don't take her lightly here. (8) MACHING ME ZILLY is always bet and always around the money, but can't seem to get that initial win. I will play against her again here.
Race 5
(1) FONDUE looks solid to keep her winning streak alive here starting from the inside. (2) HILL YES was moved way too late to make any impact last time. He should make a bigger impact here. (3) PURE KEMP went too fast, too early last time. A more even trip puts him right there vs. these. (8) LADY GREY is worth a look off her last start in which she showed late interest.
Race 6
(8) SORCERESS SEELSTER looks best here if she can stay trotting. (5) MISS MIMI was 2nd to the choice in a solid debut mile. If she gets a better start here, she could turn the tables. (4) TUSK - a $50K Harrisburg sale by - is worth a look here being out of Pure Ivory, a $1.4 million earner on the track. (2) KADABRA QUEEN has nothing but good efforts on her card. She should make the ticket here again.
Race 7
(7) BROCKS FORTUNE lost to the same sharp winner twice straight and with that one not in here, he gets top billing. (4) INTENDED STYLE paid an insane 11/1 last week coming off a sharp win in the same class. While his odds should plummet here, he is a top contender. (1) HIGHLAND BOGART is worthy of consideration picking up the leading teamster here shipping in off a win. (10) CHARMBO ORBIT drops, but gets the worst post. Toss him on Pick 4 tickets.
Race 8
(2) NORTHERN STARLIGHT roared home to an easy score last week and if she is kept in close enough range here, she is a good bet to double up. (8) DANCER HALL gets Filion back and comes in sporting a lightning fast qualifier with trotting hopples added. I think you have to use him in the late Pick 4 off that mile and considering the equipment change. (5) ITS HALLRIGHT was easily circled by the choice last time, but she is a good bet to hit the board here again. (3) JANGONE was a good two-year-old but did little last year. Her opener wasn't bad. She could crash the exotics here.
Race 9
(7) WILL TAKE CHARGE throttled easier last time. A similar aggressive approach could work here despite the class rise. (4) CATCH THE DREAM is always a threat at this level; using. (2) O NARUTAC PERFETTO draws better here which could put him in position to win turning home. Macdonald is becoming one of the best on the circuit driving closers. (5) CLASSIC VENTURE goes for a stable that typically sends them ready. He should be a pace threat at a minimum.
Race 10
(7) TONY SOPRANO was game in defeat last week despite getting no breathers. He should be tough here if he can work out a slightly better trip. (6) LEXUS ROCKY got rolling late, but the class-dropping winner was already long gone last week. He is a big threat here. (2) SASS took a shuffle vs. better last time. He too is a threat here racing from close range. (1) RAMAS LAST SON should work out an inside following trip ad make the Super or High 5 ticket here. (3) SUMMIT CITY TURBO is another good one to use underneath as he typically finishes on the fringes.
